STL’s Gemma Whitchurch visited Kentish Flats wind farm on 17th November 2011, courtesy of Vattenfall. Many Thanks go to Melanie Rogers for organising the day, and a special thanks to Tony Walker for taking the time out of his day to play host.
Accompanied by four turbine technicians, Gemma was there to help STL gain a better insight into the day to day operations on a working offshore wind farm, key to the Neptune project currently under development, which will provide safer, cost effective offshore access.
